Acceptance with Grace

Dear readers, it is the time of Thanksgiving! A beautiful day, week, month and season to count your blessings and be thankful. Today, I want all of us to pause and appreciate the beauty around us. I want us to count our blessings, and be thankful for things we have been given that we may take for granted. I want us to accept small joys and happiness in life with gratitude and love. I also want us to accept things that we may not like in our life with acceptance and grace. Read on today’s post about ways to accept things in our life with patience, grace and surrender.

Dear readers, do you know anyone who has a perfect life? I do not, because no one has a perfect life as no one is perfect. Most, if not all, people have ups and downs in their life. Days that bring us happiness and days that may weigh us down. Things and memories that make us excited and full of hope, as well as moments that torment and break us sometimes. In reality, we have to accept the journey of life with grace and humility. We all know that some things are not in our control, some things may happen in life which we may dread and be fearful of, but the attitude of acceptance is the key. Think of the water that makes its way through hurdles and rocks and obstacles and flowing through them all.

Flow like water and you will find your way through any rock. It’s not the obstacles that stop us but our unwillingness to try a different approach.

Mordy Quotes

Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.

Bruce Lee

Acceptance goes hand in hand with surrendering. It does not mean defeat, instead it means to use grace to face anything in life. Whatever religion or faith or supreme power you may believe in, confidence and humility comes with knowing that this too shall pass. Having an attitude of gratitude makes all the difference. If you are humble and grateful at the time of abundance, give yourself grace in the time of deficit and accept both with surrendering and a peace of mind.

This is such a beautiful read and I actually this is something I needed. Thank you for reminding us to be kind and grateful.

I agree with you that it is also important that we stay grounded and mindful.

This couldn’t be anymore relevant for this time of year! There also a very good lesson to be learned here. Acceptance in anything like change makes transitions easier, as they should because change is a natural occurrence that should be expected in all things. Thank u for posting this!

Learning to accept good or bad things with grace is such a wonderful thing to learn. This is a really beautiful post , I enjoy reading this.

My husband and I are having this “debate” a lot at the moment. He feels acceptance is defeat so keeps fighting our current situation, which makes it even harder.
