Who doesn’t like tea? Let me rephrase. Who doesn’t like freshening up with a hot beverage- be it tea or coffee? I always start my day with tea which gives me energy and gets me ready for the new day. In today’s post I write my honest review on teas from simplicityteas.com.

What is Simplicity Teas?

Simplicity Teas is a loose leaf tea of the month club focused on health and wellness that gives you new, fun, healthy teas each month. Simplicity Teas is a local company based in California founded by Carolyn. She writes- “The idea of Simplicity Teas was founded upon the idea of sharing the ancient wisdom behind teas and other herbs. There are a multitude of benefits ranging from radiant, smooth skin, to optimized digestion”. It is a women-led company that caught my eye when I first learned about it. Carolyn reached out to me and, after trying the teas, I wanted to share my opinion and review. So read on!

My experience

I got my 40 tea bags in a neat box in March end. There were 4 varieties of tea with 10 servings each. Almond Oolong is a digestive tea perfect for a mid day! Decaf lady lavender is the Simplicity Teas signature flavor! It is the favorite blend after a long day. Berry beautiful mix contains high minerals which are great for skin health. Get glowing! It is also great as a healthy diuretic. Love potion is the perfect blend of dark chocolate and strawberries. Strawberries contain folic acid, manganese and potassium.

Ingredients in each tea– Love Potion contains apple, papaya, strawberries, cocoa beans, rosehip, hibiscus, and cornflower petals. It contains minimal caffeine. Berry Beautiful contains hibiscus, rosehips, apple, strawberry, and raspberry leaves, and is caffeine free. Decaf Lady Lavender contains decaf black tea, bergamot, vanilla, lavender, and orange peels, and, as the name suggests, it is caffeine free. Almond oolong contains oolong tea, and almond flavor, and contains caffeine. What great varieties to chose from! My favorite would be the berry beautiful mix, although I did enjoy each one for its specific light aroma and flavor.
