As the new year is approaching, here is a reminder to always take care of yourself first. Skin care is a form of self care, and very important to be healthy and happy. Read my previous post about skin care for self care and learn about the basic night time routine I follow for myself. I am not a big makeup person, nor do I spend too much time for skin care, but I do have the basics of nighttime face wash, toner, serum and moisturizer to make sure my skin stays healthy. In today’s post I write about skin care with TruSkin Vitamin C serum and give my honest review.

Physical self care may include skin care, sleep habits, exercise and healthy eating. In today’s post I am writing my personal experience about TruSkin serum review.

So what are serums? Serums are skin care products that you apply after cleaning/toning your face and before you apply the moisturizer. Serums may help even out your skin, slow aging, prevent wrinkles and tighten your skin. TruSkin Vitamin C Serum has Vitamin C as the name suggests. Vitamin C is an antioxidant, which means that it helps protects skin cells from UV exposure and inhibits melanin production in the skin, which helps lighten hyperpigmentation and brown spots, even out skin tone, and enhance skin radiance.

My experience

I received my kit two weeks ago which included one TruSkin Vitamin C Serum (1 fl oz), one TruSkin Vitamin C Moisturizer (2 fl oz), a branded gift bag 100% organic cotton, and product information cards for both Vitamin C Serum and Vitamin C Moisturizer.

Although the serum can be used in morning or night, I added it to my night time skin care routine. After face wash and toner, I apply 3-5 drops of serum to my face and neck. After few minutes of drying off, I apply the TrueSkin moisturizer. I found both the products to be very effective.

TruSkin serum was easy to use, not sticky and required just few drops for the face. I let it dry before applying the moisturizer. TruSkin moisturizer is very rich and I had to use only half of the regular amount to apply on my face and neck. They both help soothe out my skin, reduce dryness and even out my skin. Less is more, with TrueSkin! I would highly recommend these products for anyone.
